We had 2 under ours this morning. Took us a while to ID her. First thought
it was a fox sparrow, but that beautiful white breast!

[cayugabirds-l] Female Towhee

Late this afternoon I saw a female EASTERN TOWHEE at the beginning of 
Podell Boardwalk on the lab side.  Do the females tend to arrive later 
than the males?  Also, many RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS on the Wilson Trail 
east of the main pond.  One displayed the red patch on its head, which 
always elicits a big WOW from me!
