2020-05-14 Thread Ann Mitchell
About 20 minutes ago I had 4 buntings at me feeders. They certainly must like
my back yard!

[cayugabirds-l] Indigo Buntings

2020-05-14 Thread Ann Mitchell
For the past 3-4 days I have had an Indigo Bunting at my feeders. 2 days ago, 2
INBUs were on the feeders. I thought that was really neat. Then today about 15
minutes ago, there were 3 Indigo Buntings at my feeders!! That was really cool!

Stay healthy!

Best, Ann

Re: [cayugabirds-l] Indigo buntings/mulberries

2017-07-06 Thread Donna Lee Scott
Near one of the inner grass trails at Salt Point, is a big mulberry tree where
I watched a Robin struggle to wolf down a large mulberry!
Tree is in bushes off grass trail east of Osprey nest tower.

Also, towhees have been particularly common this year (or maybe I'm just
spending more time looking for them).

[cayugabirds-l] Indigo Buntings

2017-05-06 Thread W. Larry Hymes
We have had a real treat recently. An adult INDIGO BUNTING has remained
around our property for the past 4 days. This afternoon it was joined
by a blotchy first-year male! Now the adult isn't lonely anymore!
