Hi all,
As I was waiting for the bus at BTI, Veronique and I had two Red-winged
Blackbirds fly overhead from northwest to southeast around 4.50 pm. Again
another 15 minutes later I saw one more at the junction of Pine Tree road and
Snyder Hill road.
It was so nice to see them.
Cheers

Hi All,
Just had 14 Red-winged Blackbirds (all males, but in various examples of
transitional plumage) show up at my feeders at 1504 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca as of
1pm. I suspect the Lab’s feeders will be swamped with them soon if they are
not already. Has early March arrived in late February?

I heard Red-winged Blackbirds in the trees just before entering the compost

Hi All - Yesterday all the usual feeder birds were busy at my feeders. Of
course many more Goldfinch & Chickadees than when I needed them for the
GBYBC.
Then Yesterday afternoon 3 Red-winged Blackbirds came to the

On 2/29, we had about 100 red-winged blackbirds foraging under and also in our
black-oil sunflower seed feeders.

Along with all my other feeder birds on this snowy day, there are ~ 2-300 Red

Hi all,
Just now from my office window I watched a small flock of Red-winged
