Highly recommend contacting a licensed (including federal permit to handle birds) and experienced wildlife rehabilitator to capture this wounded GBH. They are dangerous to handle, even for experts (and yes, they will try to peck your eyes out). I highly recommend contacting: Moran Hapeman

Re catching a heron, I’d add do protect your OWN eyes too. Wear safety glasses or something. A stab from a heron can take out your eye. Advice from zoo keepers. Get Outlook for iOS From: bounce-12539-5851...@list.cornell.edu on
