At 3:30 pm. This afternoon there were 2 flocks of Snow Geese flying north
over the field adjacent to Cayuga Lake at 7214 Wyers Point Rd. Ovid, NY.
Total of about 150.

I like to have my feeder birds eat what is available until
the snow flies so late yesterday afternoon we filled all feeders around the
house. This morning, early ,many species had found the sunflower seeds &
cracked corn and the cage of suet. It has been a busy place all day with - a
pair of Cardinals, 2 Carolina Wrens, 2 Tufted Titmice,1 Hairy &1 Downy
Woodpecker, 2 Goldfinch, & 5 Chickadees. On the ground were 2 Mourning Doves
and 6 Dark-eyed Junco.
