Keep your eyes peeled for Snowy Owls in the Finger Lakes region. They should begin making their way down into the farmlands of the Finger Lakes in the coming days/weeks. Obviously, with snow on the ground, spotting these birds is made more difficult against a white backdrop.
A reminder not to trespass on private property for closer viewing of any Snowy Owls that may appear down here, without prior authorization from land owners, nor approach these birds to the point of causing them to fly.
