warblers: the DEC division which looked into the drainage found no
violations occurred but another division will also assess the
situation. Alyssa Johnson from the Montezuma Audubon Center checked
the prothonotary nestbox there (she
The NYSDEC has referred the issue of the drainage ditching at Armitage
Rd. to their Ecosystem Health Dept. and they will get clarification
regarding what is happening and determine if there have been any
violations. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome.
