Nice birds found at both Goetchius Wetland Preserve and Park Preserve 'North.'
The portion of the Goetchius Preserve that is accessed from the parking area on
Flatiron Road, does not have a maintained trail network. A loop trail can be
found in Mary's Woods, which is located at the back of the

Linda Clougherty and I went birding at Gutchess Preserve and North Park
Preserve.
We could find no paths at Gutchess. Looks like I have to go there with
someone who actually can find the trails.We saw or heard Song and Swamp
Sparrow, Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlark, Killdeer, Spotted
A group of us met at Mt. Pleasant. I arrived there around 11:00. We saw a
Golden Eagle, Red-Tailed Hawk, Coopers Hawk, 2 Goshawks, Rough-legged Hawk,
Northern Harrier, Blue Birds. If we saw more, someone else has to expound
