Our first Brown Thrasher, this year, is in the yard checking out all the edges for food, scratching in the leaf litter.
"Our", towhee showed up last week and entertained me yesterday as I worked in the yard with its "Drink your tea" song. Lastly, Sunday pm there was an Eastern Meadowlark calling and flitting about in our hay lot here in Danby.
