Knowledge of the fossil record of birds has exploded in the
past decade or so. We now know more about early bird evolution
than ever before. But it’s much more than just “feathered
dinosaurs.” In his presentation, “Bird Evolution: A View
from the Fossil Record,” Warren Allmon will talk about the
recent discoveries and insights into the evolution of birds.

Our meeting will begin with "Cookies and Conversation" at 7:15 (along with the
Wild Birds Unlimited store being open), business meeting at 7:30 and then our
speaker, Warren Allmon. Please note that there will be no speaker dinner this
month.
