The Cayuga Bird Club is pleased to welcome Meena Haribel as guest speaker
at our monthly meeting tonight, May 9, at 7:30 pm at the Cornell Lab of
Ornithology. In "Here I Am: A Nature Travel Diary" Meena will use
photographs as well as audio and video recordings to share experiences
from her trip to Western Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales.
Meena will talk about a pelagic trip she took from Wollongong as well as
other highlights including her encounters with a protective male Southern
Cassowary, a nonchalant Superb Lyrebird, and many other wonderful
creatures.
There will NOT be a speaker dinner this evening so be sure to come at
7:15 for cookies and extra time to "chat" with Meena and other Club
members as well as visit the Wild Birds Unlimited Store. See you there
tonight.
