[cayugabirds-l] Common Yellowthroat singing

I am new to Fall birding. I usually find the approach of Autumn crushingly depressing, so I don't know how common it is for migrating species to sing. A Common Yellowthroat was just "Witchity"-ing in my yard in South Freeville. Typical behavior? The species nests on our property each year.
