[cayugabirds-l] Cornell Merlin

2015-05-05 Thread Dave Nutter
While wandering around A.D.White house in search of the Clay-colored Sparrow
this afternoon (I eventually found it on the north side of Stimson Hall), I saw
a MERLIN to the east of the Big Red Barn, perhaps carrying something, and
flying high northbound. A few minutes later a Merlin followed the same path
southbound while calling.

[cayugabirds-l] Cornell Merlin

2010-05-03 Thread James G. Kohlenberg
While birding Sunday at Comstock Knoll, on the Cornell campus, I heard a Merlin
calling loudly very close by. I couldn't see it because of the trees, but
maybe it's nesting nearby.

Happy birding,

Gary
