Saw my FOY female red-winged blackbird this morning at Commonland.

The 100+ ring-necked ducks that were still at the second dam yesterday morning
were gone this morning.

Saw my FOY sapsucker yesterday near the Giles St footbridge - a brilliant male,
yellow belly and all.

Suan

PS It would be most unfair to get into the habit of calling the Renwick owl
roost "mine", as it was pointed out to me by others (I have tried a few times
looking for the owl on my own, but have failed miserably each time :-).
