I was in the gardens for a few hours Sunday in the late morning. The diversity of birds is fun and interesting. I was able to see: Song Savanna Chipping House Field LINCOLN'S White-throated Sparrows Indigo Bunting House Wren Ruby-throated Hummingbird Common Yellowthroat Ravens Red-tailed Hawks Turkey Vultures A. Kestrel
The Kestrel was an obvious migrant, bombing in over the ravine, strafing a couple songbirds without much course correction then full speed south and out of sight. Paul and I birded together for a time and he had a Palm Warbler. I wasn't able to see it again.
