I photographed a banded young Great Black-backed Gull at the Cornell compost facility on 1 Feb (https://ebird.org/checklist/S64009795). I got word that this bird was banded in July 2018 when it was too young to fly, in York County, Maine. That is almost exactly 300 miles ENE of here.
