I just had a Great crested flycatcher land on the top of my bird feeder, stayed for app. a minute and droped to the ground. I did not see him fly away, but he was gone when I tried to sneek out and get a picture. I'm in the village of Newfield and was very suprised to see it. --

This morning as I searched in vain in bushes across my road for a calling, but hidden warbler, I spotted a Great Crested Flycatcher with his brilliant yellow breast shining in the early sun, on a top-most bare branch-- he was calling Wheap! Recently, as I sat in my screen porch with a big oak
