This morning (~9am) there was a greater yellowlegs foraging around a gravel
bar in the mouth of Salmon Creek, readily viewable from Myers. A nice flock of
Bonaparte's gulls and three caspian terns were also present.

Might be a young bird that never tried to breed. Or a failed breeder

Yesterday, I saw 6 Greater Yellowlegs in the freshly drained Storage Pond on
Howland's Island in Savannah. It was flurrying so hard, it was hard to see at
times! I hope they get a move on and head south sooner rather than later.
Other birds of note on the island- 1 Belted Kingfisher, ~20 Snow Bu
One Greater Yellowlegs at Carncross Road.

There was a single Greater Yellowlegs at Carncross Road Saturday evening just
after 7 PM. Nice views of 3 Sandhill Cranes to go along with good numbers of
Northern Pintail as well.
