I have seen/heard HOODED WARBLERS both on Sweazey Rd. at the bottom below
Cornell small fruits orchard, in wooded area, and in woods along Lansing
Station Rd. near my place at #535.
Many G. CATBIRDS, AMERICAN REDSTARTS along Lansing Station Rd and Bill George
Rd., including what must be an immature male (who resembles a female) singing a
lot south of #457.
Also, YELLOW WARBLERS, COMMON YELLOWTHROATS below orchard on Sweazey OVENBIRD
heard, then seen in woods above #535 Lans. Stat. Rd., as well as RED EYED
VIREOS singing at #535 and near #457. Lots of B. ORIOLE & GREAT CRESTED
FLYCATCHERS singing/sightings, too.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Hooded Warbler at Monkey Run

We got many good looks at a hooded warbler slightly after noon at Monkey Run.
It was located along the path going left (west) as you face the creek entering
from the 366 side. Follow the path along the creek, past the remains of the
old bridge, until the path moves away from the creek and is about to go up the
hill. It was located in low branches on both sides of the path, singing
strongly. Max (Richard Maxwell)
