Hi all, There is currently what appears to be a CACKLING GOOSE (small, rounded head; short, almost stubby bill, smaller than all the CANG) swimming around near the small island in the front pond at the Lab of Ornithology.
I took a video with my phone through one of the scopes to check again and will share that with anyone that wants to see it when I have it online. If you're interested in coming to look for it, the geese all usually fly away in the next half hour or so. - Brad -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
