Upland sandpiper continues. Only 1 this week. Sitting on a wire close for my
SFO group for 10+ minutes. We also heard and saw a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW in
the same area that Chris Wood found it last week. The bird flew up to a post
for a brief time so that we could get brief view. The bird was next to a
savannah sparrow which was really neat. There were also many more savannah
sparrows horned larks and a couple eastern meadowlarks.
