Sorry for the late posting. Just read Pete Saracino's post which reminded me of
the also talkative Louisiana Waterthrush we heard at the base of Taughannock
Falls around 11:30 this morning. With echoes and loud falls noises it was
impossible to get bearings for a sighting, but he sure let us

Louisiana Waterthrush is back singing at Six Mile Creek upstream of second
reservoir this morning. I didn't walk the trails the last two days so don't
know if they'd been back, though yesterday's evening walk did not hear any.
Winter wren continues singing in its traditional territory.

Merlin tells me there's a Louisiana Waterthrush in the Willow Creek gorge,
intersection of Kraft Rd and the black diamond trail, town of Ulysses. I
was walking my dogs and not able to stop to search but it was singing away.

Late this morning at Chittenango Falls I spotted a Louisiana waterthrush. We
were on the bridge at the base of the falls when the thrush flew into a low

A single LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH (first of year for me) was singing on Leonard
