Today Ngampit and I spent a couple of hours hiking in Michigan Hollow WMA.
Highlights were two WINTER WRENS loudly calling and were seen (separately)! After years I have seen Winter Wrens. In two different flocks of chickadees, there were several RUBY-CROWNED and GOLDEN CROWNED KINGLETS, one BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER. Also came upon a large flock of AM> ROBINS (25+) feeding on wild grapes. I also heard a RUFFED GROUSE drumming!
