Just a note to my previous post, I reviewed my photos and the Phalarope's beak seems very thick with a trace of yellow on the base. As I said I'm no expert but my Sibley's guide seems to lean towards a Red Phalarope, not a Red-necked. If anyone wants to see a photo, I'll be working at the Montezuma Visitor's Center Sunday (10 - 4 PM), or if anyone else was able to identify it, please post. Thanks. --
