yesterday morning (9/1).

7:15 Auto Loop
harrier, osprey, N. shoveler, blue winged teal, some shorebirds but not many, 
trumpeter swans @ Benning Marsh
8  Mays Point (revisited at 1pm - smaller #'s)
great egret, great blue herons, gallinule (moorhen), g. yellowlegs, 
semi-palmated plover, killdeer 
coot
9 am Towpath
cedar waxwings, sm flock warblers-only id'd magnolia, Caspian terns, great 
egrets, great blue herons, sandhill cranes
9:45 East Rd
great egrets, cormorants, great blue herons, lg flock swallows (200+), small 
flocks of: goldfinch, rw blackbirds, starlings
10:30 Savannah Spring Lake Rd
short-billed dowitchers, greater and lesser yellowlegs, mallards, great blue 
heron 
11:15 Railroad Rd.
bluebirds (where we had them last year @ start of dirt road)
trumpeters (1 imm, 1 adult)
black crowned night heron (2 imm., 1 adult)
glossy ibis (may be same one seen at Mays Point in earlier days of week; anyone 
notice distinct amount of white on upper throat?)
noon Van Dyne Spoor
gallinule, coot, cormorant, N. Harrier, redtail hawk, ring billed gull
