At midday on Thursday, I found two AMERICAN PIPITS at Myers Point. I first saw the two birds flying north together across Salmon Creek. They showed plain brown plumage without white in the wings, plus dark tails with white outer feathers. At Salt Point, I confirmed the identity of one pipit as it foraged in the gravel and leaf litter, tail often bobbing.
Applying modest effort, I found no unusual waterfowl, gulls, or raptors.
