Hi Cayugabirders,

I'll be giving a presentation at the upcoming Annual Fall Meeting of the New
York State Bluebird Society on Saturday, September 26th at 10:30 am, at the
Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

https://www.facebook.com/events/885602504830586/

I will be talking about the Lab's NestWatch<http://nestwatch.org/> program, a
citizen-science nest monitoring project. I'll share some recent results and
explain how to contribute your nesting observations for science. Following
that, Sarrah Kaye, DVM, from the Vet School will talk about infectious diseases
in NY passerines. Dr. Kaye is interested in emerging diseases of wildlife and
their impact on endangered populations.

The meeting is open to all, but you must register (free) to
nysbsreservati...@gmail.com<mailto:nysbsreservati...@gmail.com> by Saturday,
Sept. 19th. If you'd like to have lunch between the two presentations with
members of the Bluebird Society, please RSVP to the same email address by Sept.
14 so you can be included in the catering headcount (lunch will be catered by
Ithaca Bakery at a cost of $14.50).

Hope to see you there,

Robyn Bailey
