I just found a NELSON'S SPARROW, after some effort, in the shorter grass
along the southern side of the main field at Hog Hole (Alan Treman Marine
Park). It flushed out of the grass and sat up in some goldenrod. When I
last saw it it was headed towards the middle of the field. Not too much

Just found a Nelson's Sparrow at Hog Hole, in the goldenrod along the lake
just west of the NW corner of the main path.
