The catbird came a few days ago. The Purple Finch pair came several weeks ago. Yesterday I had a female Towhee and the female Rose Breasted Grosbeak. This morning I had two male Orioles at the same time and also spotted the male Grosbeak. Later on I spotted a mature White Crown Sparrow. It’s been a great day so far. I’m near . Auburn. There was an Osprey nest on a tower near my house on rt 20. I’m sad to say the nest was removed and the Ospreys have not tried to rebuild it. I’ll miss them. They were often circling over my house calling.
