Hi John, thanks for sharing this very ambitious route -- hopefully it will inspire others to get out owling (and don't save it for the "second evening" as it is likely to rain). I often try for the Barred and Screech on Sapsucker Woods Rd., so I will avoid these and try for others. good luck!

Hi Folks, It is so nice that there are several people going out owling. I've gone out owling for over 55 years on Christmas Counts, including about 30 years in the Cayuga Bird Club area. Until the last 10 years or so, there never were enough people to worry much about counting the same owl
