Here on the northeastern side of 1,920' Sorry Hunter Hill in West Danby we've
finally lost enough snow that the Fox Sparrows can rake and rummage the ground
under the shrub thickets, and of course they're singing lustily. Honey bees are
out too! The Eastern Phoebe that's perching familiarly on
Common Snipe yesterday on Wheeler Hill, Steuben County.
Today, first Tree Swallow of the season.
