A few updates for the listserv. The LITTLE BLUE HERON David Weber found on
the pond at Sapsucker Woods yesterday continued into the evening. My list

Brad and I just checked from the Lab building and Sher
This morning after the first downpours started I drove up to Myers
before work to see if anything interesting had been grounded. I did
find two SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, one LEAST SANDPIPER, and a Killdeer on
the rocky island in the mouth of Salmon Creek, but no shorebirds on
the spit. My first juvenile

Yesterday I saw an ACADIAN FLYCATCHER at Ford Hill in Lansing, where they
have been for several years now. I already reported the Least and
Semipalmated sandpipers on Myers Point, but I also saw a late male AMERICAN
WIGEON in Fall Creek, three PURPLE MARTINS (including a female carrying
nesting ma
A Yellow-bellied Sapsucker is a regular visitor at a suet feeder off Logan Road.
Approximately 30 Snow Buntings and 20 Horned Larks were feeding on corn
spillage on
Fitzgerald Road on Saturday.
