We’ve had a couple Red-breasted Nuthatches at Kendal for at least a month.
They visit sunflower feeders at a couple cottages opposite a line of very tall
Norway Spruce trees, where I think they take shelter.
Trees are at property line on Northwest side of Kendal complex.

We were happy to see a second RB Nuthatch arrived at our feeders on
Nov.3. This past Feb, only one returned to our feeders -- we suspect the
mate had died. Eventually a second RB Nuthatch showed up, clearly a
young one that was quite unfamiliar with feeders.
Then in September only one
I was delighted to see at least one RED BREASTED NUTHATCH at my feeder areas
for the last two days! I usually have only White Breasted Nuthatches all thru
the warm season, but sometimes see RB Nuthatches in fall and winter.

Just had my first RB Nuthatch at my house near Auburn. I've never had one here
in the 17 years I've lived here. My friend down the lake in Skaneateles has
them yearly. I had them in Syracuse too. I hope it becomes a regular though
it probably was just passing through.

I was surprised to have a Red-Breasted Nuthatch at my feeder today.
I live at North Woods Apartments in Lansing.

first time, as well as a FOX SPARROW, lots of COMMON REDPOLLS, AMERICAN
