Good variety of shorebirds as of 2:30 PM at Visitor Center pool including both flavors of yellowlegs, l.b. dowitchers, stilts, dunlin, white rumps, semipalmated sandpiper, killdeer, pectoral and quite possibly a bairds. Refuge Visitor Center pool is loaded with shorebirds this morning as the water level lowers. Quick glance before our survey has both flavors of yellowlegs, lots of least and semipalmated sandpipers, semipalmated plovers, dunlin, solitary sandpipers and..who knows what else. We'll survey it in a bit. The warblers can wait!!
