Hi all,
Just a reminder.......
I'll be leading a Cayuga Bird Club field trip this coming Saturday, 9/21.
We'll meet at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology at 7:30 am and finish up by noon
at the latest. Migration is well underway and there are mixed flocks of
migrants around which I hope to find. My plan is to walk along the Dryden Rail
Trail starting in Freeville and heading east toward George Road. There are
many different habitats along the way, from field to swamp to woods, which
should be good for a variety of birds. If time permit, we may then head to
Dryden Lake to round out the morning.
The trail is somewhat stony, so wear good shoes, bring a snack and prepare
for a nice stroll.
The trip is open to the public.
See you Saturday!
Laura
