Had a pair of Sandhill Cranes at the Sandhill Crane Unit (Montezuma) on the 
south side of Van Dyne Spoor Rd around sunset Saturday. Also had a group of 
over 2 dozen Swans that appear to be Trumpeters. Photos available on Eaton 
Birding Society’s facebook page. (No Short-eared Owls seen, but several N. 
Harriers were flying around, along with lots of ducks & Canada geese).
