Fun birding on Friday morning in the power-line corridor between the parking lots and the Hoyt-Pileated Trail in Sapsucker Woods. At least 20 noisy Pine Siskins (3+ different vocalizations -- chatter, smooth long "zzzzzip," harsh riffling "krrrrrrrip"), Rusty Blackbirds, Eastern Bluebirds, Eastern Towhees, other sparrows so far (first 15 minutes).
