I had struck out on them so far this year, but within ten minutes of arriving in Shindagin Hollow this morning I heard five WINTER WRENS and got great views of one of them. I also heard my first WOOD THRUSH of the year. There were a number of BLUE-HEADED VIREOS around, but I didn't find any warblers.
