Starting at around 8:30 this morning, I drove the road to the bottom of Shindagin Hollow, getting out frequently along the way. It was pretty quiet except from numerous singing BLACK-THROATED BLUE and GREEN WARBLERS, but on the way down the hill , I found a BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER and a MAGNOLIA WARBLER along the edge of the road singing and foraging at eye level, and along the road at the bottom, I found a singing CANADA WARBLER that came close to the road for nice looks.
