There’s a Snow Bunting, I believe a first-winter female, on the spit at Myers
at 4 pm.
Foraging along the creek shore just outside the last tree as you go out to the
point.

Thanks for the post on the snow bunting because today I thought I caught
one in the corner of my eye while driving at 40mph on Triphammer. It was
perched on a telephone wire up in Lansing. I know they are usually in large
flocks foraging in farm fields, but this one had a cheek mark that

I was on van Dyne Spoor Road today about 1 pm when I saw a mostly white bird
perched among about 1/2 dozen Redwing Blackbirds. It was on a dead snag to the
south of the sixth telephone pole after the woods. Put my binoculars on it
from and could see it was only slightly smaller than the
Bobolink???
