I realize this is too late to be of much use to folks but there was a Snowy Owl on the ground affording great views about 50 yards south of Yale Farm Rd in Romulus yesterday (11/30) at around 3:30pm: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.7912115,-76.870934//@42.7951606,-76.8710626,3575m/data=!3m1!1e3
This location has been a fairly reliable area to see Snowies in recent years (but not last year). There were also thousands of Snow Geese on the north side of the road yesterday. This morning at 8 am there was no obvious owl and only a handful of geese but I travel this way frequently and will report any other sightings promptly.
