The Cayuga Bird Club trip and I had a probable 1st cycle THAYER'S GULL on the spit at Myers Point a little while ago. Pale gray overall, darkish wingtips with frosty edges, petite build. Photos and discussion to follow, but worth taking a look at if you're in the area.
