Hi all,
I'm on the thruway headed east and I'm almost positive I just spotted the
Tricolored Heron in flight at North Spring Pool MNWR in the back or western
part but close to the thruway. The bus I'm on has beautiful large windows and
the heron was the right color in great light and I saw
Any updates on the Tricolored Heron would be much appreciated.

the wildlife drive at Montezuma today and yesterday.

Larue and Jackie also reported a Stilt Sandpiper from the
Was in a tree near the canal boat tie up on the Seneca Trail off of Wildlife
Drive at 3pm this afternoon. It was quite active and flew across to trail side
and was sitting in a tree right near the trail. Beautiful bird and worth the
trip. I was doing a Northern Harrier survey for the refuge
A TRICOLORED HERON is flying around the marsh at Van Dyne Spoor Road in
Wayne County and two GLOSSY IBIS just flew over going south. WILSON'S
PHALAROPE is still on Carncross as well as a crane family and 15+ LAPLAND
LONGSPURS (and a Tom Johnson and Chris Wood to help).
