First canoeing of the season on Dryden Lake yesterday afternoon (sorry for late post - sore muscles!). Flushed an adult bald eagle from the NE edge of the lake which flew directly across and perched in trees on the west edge. When we arrived opposite the main park pavilion some kayaks again flushed the bird who flew very low back over the water and landed very close to the area where it was originally spotted. Wondering now if it is local...?
