I learned this evening that my friend Stefhan Ohlström, who lives near Eco-Village on Ithaca's West Hill, saw a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER in his yard earlier this week. Of course I double-checked whether he meant Common Yellowthroat, as mixing up the names is common. He meant what he said, describing it as "like a Black-and-white Warbler with a yellow bib".
