During my lunch break a few minutes ago, I was sitting on the stone wall
overlooking Beebe Lake (near where Plantations Rd intersects Forest Home), and
heard something slapping the water a couple of times. A few seconds later, I
saw an osprey fly by me with a fish. It flew along the south shore of Beebe
Lake, landing in one of the trees next to the lake. Last year I saw an osprey
a handful of times on the lake, but it wasn't an everyday occurrence.
