I had a very fine pair of Pileated Woodpeckers at my home this morning (new yard bird), working the dead trees in our woodlot. I also just had a good look at a male and female Hooded Merganser on Sapsucker Woods pond just now (10:30am), visible from Staff Lounge. Happy Friday to all, Robyn
