I want to thank Robert Wesley, Laurie Roe, Liz Brown, John Titus, Anne Clark, Stuart Krasnoff, and Melissa Luckow for informing me that the item the chickadee is carrying is a fruit of an agrimony, Agrimonia sp. in the Rosaceae. Also, sorry for the long url. Google is messing with our lives.
