I arrived at E. Shore Park an hour after your posting and was able to see the
Western Grebe in the distance towards that bluish-gray piling with a light that
is north from the red lighthouse.
The W. Grebe was still close enough to see with just binocs. It stood up in the
water
This repeated sighting of a single grebe vs. two grebes together makes me think
there are/were three birds on the lake.
But I must also say this, past Saturday I was sitting at Myers and watching
bird movements, some seemed very random, but I watched lots of Common
Mergansers head to south-end
