Louis Hicks had a sighting of one and possibly two birds he strongly suspected
were whistling-ducks at this spot on Aug 10, so it's entirely possible this
bird has been here for almost a month.

So this is just to say that it has been there several days and maybe is stable
for a bit. I have my first visitor/family here since March so didn’t check out
the Wetland from the road Sat or today. Maybe tomorrow but—good luck all.

The BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCK is still present this morning, sitting on
a small stump near the beaver lodge pn the north side of the road.

Louis Hicks had a sighting of one and possibly two birds he strongly
suspected were whistling-ducks at this spot on Aug 10, so it's entirely
possible this bird has been here for almost a month.
